Social Media 180 built a custom Facebook game to promote Pitbull and Fergie's Voli Vodka. After registering to play, fans competed for the top position on the LeaderBoard for a chance to WIN numerous prizes from Voli Vodka. The game consisted of multiple questions about the brand to educate fans about Voli Vodka. Questions were timed and became increasingly harder as they moved through the levels. This required us to build a custom algorithm that was based on time. As the countdown timer went from 60 seconds to zero, we were able to assign a points value for how fast a fan anwsered the question correctly. For instance, if they answered the question in 33 seconds their score for that level was 33 points. Points converted into spots on the Leaderboard and a chance to WIN. Finally, we tied this all together by using the Facebook Achievements API to automatically publish a post to the fans wall every time they completed a level.
